Guest mikeeey Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 whenever i plug in my headphones people cant hear me talking. i can hear them and hear music. i went to my friends house and tried his headphones and people still couldnt hear me. i know his werent broken cuz he just bought his sda today and the headphones came with it. i wasnt sure if this was something in the registry doing it or if it might of been physical damage to the inside of the headphone slot (forgot the name lol). when i tried putting on a qtek on in the past and then put a t-mobile rom back on it still didnt work. sounds like physical damage?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 The only way to test if it's a hardware fault is by doing a hard reset and restoring the phone to it's factory settings. It certainly sounds like a harware fault as I presume without the headset plugged in everything is ok?

(On friday the 13th too grrr)

But i did try my xbox live headset on it but that didnt work. might be cuz its a different type of headset or maybe cuz it still doesnt work.
