missing PLMN?

I need help. I hope someone here know about this problems.

My device is a HTC Prophet (wm5) and is working well with the exception of the roaming icon.

The problem is that it is always indicating as doing roaming.

I check with the phone provider and this is wrong (I am not doing roaming).

In Starg -> Settings -> Phone -> Network

Current network is: 722310 .That's ok for CTI (my provider). The signal icon indicates a strong signal.

But when I try to make a "Manual Netowrk selection" I only obtain these networks:

* 722 07

* UNIFON

* AR TP

Is because of this the roaming indication?: it can not find the correct network.

But why it can connect to to the 722310 network (send and recive phone calls, sms, etc) and it can not find it for the network selection?

Finally I added this network to the preferred networks (It was not in the list offered by the device) but I got the same result.

What can I do?

The phone will only change to roaming when it can not find the network the SIM is designed for.

If the phone can not find the correct network it will be because you are not near to the networks transmitter.

You can test this by asking your network to disable roaming from your account.
