Guest cellar Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 I'm trying to get TCMP set up to use the media keys on my SDA. It sorta works, but every time I touch one of them, Windows Media Player opens up and starts doing its thing. Not good. <_< So I need to somehow "unbind" the media keys from WMP. The best help I've found so far is on this page, it says as a hack you can rename wmplayer.exe to something else, but I can't get that to work either - doing it from my desktop always gives "file locked or in use" and the phone's file browser refuses to display the file (actually, most files) even with the hide this & that all unchecked under options (and after rebooting). Someone here must have figured out how to do it. So... Anyone? TIA
Guest slimgym Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 (edited) You can change the shortcuts in the windows directory, someone has already done this and there's a zipfile hereabouts containing the necessary files. Found it here http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...rtcut&st=80 Edit: This may or may not apply to your SDA but it does work on the SP5m. Edited October 14, 2006 by slimgym
