Changing the look at feel of an iPaq 6910. How?

Sorry if this seems like a n00by post but I'm having a few problems with my new phone. I just upgraded from a motorola mpx220, about 1.5 years ago i modded the hell out of it and loved it, however on receipt of my new iPaq 6910 I started trawling this site for mods. A few things have struck me that i'd like some clarification.

1) Do most plugins require paying for these days?

2) Where the hell do i change themes etc on my phone?

3) I'm assuming that i need the qvga skins as it has a very big screen?

4) I can't even find anywhere to change the colours of the native skin!?

5) Can i change the anoying screen saver?

Any help would be hugely appreciated as seem to be a complete n00b...
