SPV C500 won't turn on

Well, I've been searching around the web trying to find something on this with nothing. I've been here before, though I cant remember why or when. Anyway, I thought I'd try here because you all seem to be friendly and helpful people.

I was listening to music on my SPV C500 with the headphones in in bed a few days ago but I fell asleep with it on. I wake up and find it off. I figured it had just run flat, which has happened before without any trouble. So I plug it into the charger and try to turn it on, nothing. I have to go to school so I decide to leave it charging until I get home after. Still won't turn on. I take the battery, sim and mini SD card out and put them back in, still nothing.

I try to get it open to see if it's just somethign that has come lose but it doesn't seem to matter how many screws I take out, the damn thing won't come apart. So now I'm here.

What have a done to my phone? Theres no sign of physical damage and when I plug it in the charging light goes orange and then green, as normal.

I'll proSPAMly just get a C600 if there's no way to fix it without a lot of hassle.

It's unlikely you will find anythign by taking the phone apart.

If the battery has been alowed to run flat a few times it could be damaged as Li-ion batteries prefer to be kept topped-up.

It may be worth trying another battery first and they can be picked up fairly cheaply or depending where you are located see if anyone near you has a battery for you to try.

OK, just tried my Dad's phone's battery which works in his (different phone, same battery). Still nothing :rolleyes:
