Weird MPX 220 Problem

I've had my mpx 220 since feb of 06 and have been lucky...no problems except now. Out of the blue when I plug my ac charger or usb cable(to computer), my profile changes to car. I cannot hear any alarms(it wakes me up in the am) or connect to activesync. I tried unplugging, rebooting, etc. Sometimes if I go to modem link and choose activate then choose deactive then it stays in normal profile and everything works ok until I connect again. I've updated my rom to 1.47 and the problem still occurs. Anybody else had this happen? I am saving sending it to motorola as a last resort. Thanks for any information. :rolleyes:

Sounds like the connector on the phone is being shorted out.

Check the plug connector and the socket for damage or contamination.
