Guest wovens Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 ...I remove O2 customization program called "V2R O2ActiveUI v4.0" ? It uses up 4.67 MB of internal memory and I cannot see what exactly it does besides showing O2 logo at start-up. What I am trying to say is: can I "un-brand" the pda-phone? What are the drawbacks of so doing? Does this O2 file do anything really essential to the functioning of the Exec? I really don't need O2 Active, O2 Email Setup or O2 HotSpots Directory. "Install Type"??? Any ideas of what it does do? This device is probably very good at meeting expectations of the majority of folks because I don't see a lot of people looking into Universal's threads. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
Guest Confucious Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Should be fine I'm thinking of instaling the AKU 3 ROM on mine - for details of what ROM bits di check out xda-developers - they are the hackers that know what all the bits do! I think you're right about the Universal, it's a great device
