Guest Loukas Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 (edited) For all those who are waiting for this device like myself, Expansys is now showing around 70 items in stock for the HTC S620 / Excalibur... http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=EXCALIBUR A very nice smartphone, I am looking to get one but will wait for prices to come down - maybe in 2-3 weeks, or a decent contract offer. Guest ma77smith Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Hi Guys, I got mine yesterday, I can say it's excellent and would recommend it to anyone. My last experience of a MS smartphone was the C500 and to be honest it put me off a bit (used to freeze then take 2 minutes to boot up after taking the battey out). I haven't installed any apps yet but the menus are very fast and snappy, and so far haven't experienced one reliability problem - although it's early days I know. I got my phone from www.superetrader.co.uk,
Guest J273 Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Yea i love mine....Just sold my m3100 as well......its that good
Guest J273 Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Yea i love mine....Just sold my m3100 as well......its that good Anyone any idea on what the port is on the bottom next to the mini usb?
Guest ma77smith Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Anyone any idea on what the port is on the bottom next to the mini usb? I have no idea either, says in the manual its a sync/headset port - but thats the mini USB port obviously. The rubber bung doesn't cover it so I presume it might be for a docking station in a car etc !! maybe
Guest Loukas Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Does anyone have any news for the O2 version of the Excalibur - the O2 Cosmo? I am wondering if O2 is finally releasing it, and if anyone knows when... Thanks.
Guest Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Anyone any idea on what the port is on the bottom next to the mini usb? I think the small port beside the usb is for the headset (ie the headset doesn't use the mini-usb) this allows you to use the headset without having to have the rubber flap open. correct me if I'm wrong (I dare ya  ) gr

Guest Loukas Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Where are you guys getting your Excaliburs from? Are you paying the £350 that Expansys is asking? I find that quite steep.....
Guest jcjdoss Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Where are you guys getting your Excaliburs from? Are you paying the £350 that Expansys is asking? I find that quite steep..... I bought mine from T-Mobile for $400
Guest Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Where are you guys getting your Excaliburs from? Are you paying the £350 that Expansys is asking? I find that quite steep..... yeah I see expansys are charging over 500 euro (real money  ) I just gor a dash off ebay for 320 + 28 to get it unlocked at imei and then I can install the HTC rom! (of course the above depends on 2 things, 1. me not getting ripped off on ebay and 2. me finding the HTC ROM somewhere) expansys seem to be cashing in on the rare-ness of them allright (nothin new there!)
