Cingular 8125 charging but it won't turn on

bought a Cingular 8125 today, installed the battery, but it didn't turn on, plugged it to the charger and the ambar light is on, so it is supposed to be charging, it's been 4 hours and the phone it's still not turn on and the ambar light stills on.

any comments about it? it is normal?

where did you get it? have you done anything else to the phone?

try hitting the reset button with the stylis to see if that will turn it on.

I tried to reset but it didn't work, it's the first time that i tried to turn it on.
