Guest jma1801 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 (edited) I have an SPV C550 for which I have just bought & installed an O2 'PAY & GO' SIM card. This is due the poor reception for orange where I live. Below are a list of settings (Italics) taken from this website which were posted by dazh71 on Apr 26 2006. I have entered these onto my phone and established with O2 helpline that the MMS & GPRS facilities are enabled. However whenever I try to get on the Internet the phone tells me it is searching, then connecting and then I get 'Sorry ---- The requested item could not be found (status code: 404)' The O2 helpline isn't much use other than telling me that the phone is enebled for GPRS & MMS. They tell me that they don't have the settings for this phone on their computer. They advise that I should go to a O2 retail shop so's someone can look at my phone 'hands on'. However I feel this could well turn into an exercise in them trying to sell me an O2 smartphone. HELP !!!!! jma1801 {{{spv550 o2 (ps yes good phone) Picture Messaging, Full Internet, GPRS and Email.
