Where should programs be installed?

are there any rules about what should be saved where?

for example should today screen installs be saved to phone mem.

how about tcmcp virtual earth etc

I would prefer to install on my 2 gig memory card but is there any reason I shouldn't be doing this?

Most software applications and games should be installed to the storage card to save space on the device.

Homescreens can be in installed to the Windows folder on the device.
