Java Games on 8310.

The screen res of the 8310/sp5 is 320 x 240 but when I install a jave game with the same res it does not play full screen and the top and bottom java ap menu bars mask the top and bottom of the game and hide part of the game.

Therefore, what screen res games shoud I install to fit within the boarders of the java app?

Also is it possible to play full screen games without the annoying java manager boarders?

Finally can someone list some phones with compatible screen resolution so it will be easy to find games for the 8310.

with the default java platform (intent bye tao group) we cannot run midlets in fullscreen mode :-(

have you tried the ibm java platform or anything else?

some games for the SE700i and MotorolaV3x works on the Tornado. Both have 240x320 screen as well. just google-lize. :rolleyes:

@ DSF: How stupid is that to not be able to play full screen games because of the Java Manager? Ridiculous. I am sure you don't have the same pronlem on other phones. Is there a tweak for it out there?

I know SE 700 and Motoroala E680 games have same 320 x 240 res but when I play them on the 8310 the top and bottom is still masked by the annoying Java Manager. I so want to play Lumines Mobile on my phone. Played fullscreen on my E680 but cannot play on my 8310. Can someone name some phones with same res which allow to play Lumines properly so then all I have to do is get the same version.
