C500 BT Modem howto

Hi,

I am able to use my C500 with ActiveSync via Bluetooth but am having trouble setting up a modem.

I have used the Toshiba Bluetooth manager to set up a Standard 33600 bps modem for the SPV C500 and I am able to get sensible results from the command (Command ATQ0V1E0 gives "Success", Command AT+GMM gives "Smartphone")

I have a network connection set up for this modem with the phone number for an ISP (not Orange), I can dial this number from the phone directly and get the normal modemmy sounds.

The problem comes when the network connection tries to dial out, it first shows "Dialing ..." where the number is definitely correct, but then comes back with an "Error 678. The remote computer did not respond. For further assistance ..."

I have run the Modem Troubleshooter but no joy so I wondered if anyone here knows the majic thing I need to do to get this to work ?
