Has anyone tried there Vario 2 without the T-mobile stuff installed on it yet?

My second vario 2 has had some minor crashes and am wondering if a hard reset would be beneficial...but i really hate the T-Mob stuff lol

A few people reported that the DMTF dial tones didn't work without the TMob customisation, so they couldn't use any service that needed it, like the customer service line! Also, IIRC the T9 lookup didn't work either.
