getting useful search results?

yo,

just now i posted on how to turn off delivery reports. i didn't bother searching for how to do this on the forums because the search on these forums doesn't work. but i thought I'd post to ask if there is a trick for getitng search results which make sense.

When I search for "delivery report" on the forums I get the following:

Pinned: Topic has attachmentsFREE CASH! Announcing: M:Panel from M:Metrics and MoDaCo

Pinned: A2DP for Tornado!

Pinned: Topic has attachmentsPaul's must have FREE Hermes

Pinned: Topic has attachmentsCingular 2125: Everything you

Pinned: START HERE: Buying CamerAware

Another good one is if you search for "call history". I've posted about three times asking how to reset the max length of the call history, all of them get answered. But each time I've had a new phone I've had to post again because the search just doesn't pick any of them up.

Is there a setting somewhere to alter this kind of thing and make the search results more useful?

Do a search for "delivery reports" (with the quotes) and you should get better results :rolleyes:

I find that adding a plus sign in front of every work that you KNOW would be in the results works best for me. For instance, +delivery +reports (and if that returns too much, add +disable to the terms)

The plus signs just work better for me than trying to get exact quote matches...
