A question about ringtones

i got a spv htc canary, this is all i know about the model. can anyone please tell me if i can use mp3's for ringtones? it sais on the net that the phone suports this but i didn't manage to find that setting.

can you please help me?

The Canary can only use wav or MIDI (format MID0) files as ringtones.

well i just received an e-mail from orange and they say that it supports mp3s too. but i have to copy them in to my documents folder. now the next thing will be to find a data cable for this phone, and i don't know if i am going to find one.
