Guest 17-APG Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Hi Guys, I have WMP11 on my XP ser pk2 laptop and WMP 10 in the latest AKU upgrade on my SP5. I have read of the many problems associated with the transfer of artwork in threads here but I had hoped that it would have been solved withthe latest upgrades; NOT. I use i Tunes most times to rip my CDs and I obtain the artwork using the iTunes art importer .92. That part works well and I can see all of the artwork in i tunes and they transfer corretly to my iPod. When I go into WMP 11 and click on a song I can see the artwork if I right click on the song name and go to "advanced tag editor". I can also see it in the "now playing" tab. However, when I transfer the music to my phone the artwork does not show up during playback. If I go into the storage card using file explorer on the SP5 and drill down into an artist I can see the song and also the artwork. If I open the artwork file by clicking on it it shows up just fine. Does anyone know why it refuses to show up during playback?? :rolleyes:

I think what you have got by the sounds of it is your album artwork in a separate folder rather than intregated with the music, you shouldn't be able to see the artwork in file explorer. I suggest you try this, activesync\explore\My Windows device\storage card\music and if you see your artwork there drag and drop it into the relevant music file. Then open Windows media Player and play your album. I hope this has been of some help...Looby. :rolleyes:
