M3100 vibrating when sync'd

Hi all,

for some reason my phone vibrates every now and again when it connected to my PC.

can anyone tell me why it does this?

i'm not sure how often, but it appears to be every 5 or 10 minutes...

(and its on vibrate mode)

One of my handsets makes the activesync noise every few minutes. I assume that the phone is set to sync every x minutes. You could change the value or just go into alerts and turn off the alert for activesync.

Just go settings - sounds & notifications. then in notifications tab, choose "activesync: Begin sync" then at bottom uncheck vibrate.

Not sure if this is the case with the Hermes devices but my MDA Compact, when in vibrate mode, vibrates in place of some sound events, regardless as to whether vibrate is ticked in to Sounds & Notifications menu.

Only way to stop it is to untick the play sound box.

I know this is an old post but for some reason my MDA just started vibrating randomly for no reason. I'm an advanced user and know my way around the settings and reminder options. Seems like every 10-20 minutes it will just vibrate and sound an alert several times in a row. Especially after turning on. And its not a memory issue either.
