Guest imate_freak Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 I am successfully running Skype 2.1 on my SP5. Sems over at sems.org posted a hack a few days ago and it works a treat, apart from some probs with saving settings like echo cancellation. Keypad input is working now!! I am running Tornado PowerControl with 2.0 beta4 with automatic CPU speed set to 152/204/252 mHz. check it out.

I also couldn't change/save the echo cancellation settings. Once I enter the settings page I can not dial or do anything else. Have you solved the problem with echo cancellantion or have any other fine tuning tips to get better sound? thanks
Guest imate_freak Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 If you have 'Language' selected on the Settings page and then make one more cursor move upwards and then 'click' with the joystick you get out of 'Settings'. It dont seems to save the echo cancellation settings though. I suspect this data is stored in the XML file in /Application Data/Username/ but I am not sure. Could be in the registry.. I think Sems would have a go at try to locate where the settings are stored. Anyone with a PPC with 2.1 installed who could post a screen-dump of the Settings page?
