Guest J273 Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Anyone tried the sugar cue trick.....to get rid of the vodafone logos? the first thing im gonna do once i recieve mine as anyone attempted it yet?
Guest MitchellO Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 I have read that trying it will just scratch your Treo. It is not a sticker as such, but is embeded in the plastic.
Guest MitchellO Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Having a look at it on my 750v that arrived today, you would scratch the hell out of the case if you took a sugarcube to it. Its some kind of plastic rubber on the front, and the logo is embeded so you have no chance of getting to it. Back is just as bad. The logo really isn't that bad on the 750v though. Particularly the front one, its very subdued.
Guest MitchellO Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Upon closer inspection, the vodafone logo on the front does appear to be raised like some kind of sticker, but I don't know how you would go about getting it off.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 If you get an SFR unit, it just has a '3G' logo on the back and no brand on the front other than Palm, i.e. (pics courtesy of Mobinaute) P
Guest MitchellO Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 (edited) It has something written on the bottom at the back which looks a bit odd though. What is an SFR unit? A review sample? Edited November 30, 2006 by MitchellO
Guest MitchellO Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 I said it there! Is it a Sample For Review?
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 SFR = French network owned by Vodafone :) P
