Guest anthoj Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Hi all, I recently installed a few apps on my Cingular 8125 smartphone/pda wm5. After the last successful installation, I was about to install another one, when the device said that the installtion was unsuccessful. I was thinking that the software I had might be incompatible with my device, so I tried installing another software, which gave me the exact same message. So, I disconnected my USB sync and soft-reset my pda phone. After the phone was back up, I went to the "remove programs" menu, and the list was empty...not only that, it doesn't even show how much program memory is available. I tried to sync my pda with my pc, and it didn't work. Activesync said that it was unable to sync. I tried everything I could think of... a few times soft-reset, with phone function on and off, with mini-sd card in and out of the slot etc...and still the same problem is present. I really don't want to have to do a hard-reset and install everything all over again. Does anyone have this problem previously? Note that this is not the 50-limit program display problem. I can't even sync... So, anyways, if anyone could help or point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it... Thanks Anthony
Guest q1001001 Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 I've had this problem for months now. I can't active sync either. Can't add programs. Delete programs list is empty. Did you ever get any resolution to this problem? - Mike
