remove programs problem

Hi all, I recently installed a few apps on my Cingular 8125 smartphone/pda wm5. After the last successful installation, I was about to install another one, when the device said that the installtion was unsuccessful. I was thinking that the software I had might be incompatible with my device, so I tried installing another software, which gave me the exact same message. So, I disconnected my USB sync and soft-reset my pda phone. After the phone was back up, I went to the "remove programs" menu, and the list was empty...not only that, it doesn't even show how much program memory is available. I tried to sync my pda with my pc, and it didn't work. Activesync said that it was unable to sync. I tried everything I could think of... a few times soft-reset, with phone function on and off, with mini-sd card in and out of the slot etc...and still the same problem is present. I really don't want to have to do a hard-reset and install everything all over again. Does anyone have this problem previously? Note that this is not the 50-limit program display problem. I can't even sync...

So, anyways, if anyone could help or point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it...

I've had this problem for months now. I can't active sync either. Can't add programs. Delete programs list is empty. Did you ever get any resolution to this problem?
