Default input method by application?

Hi,

Just got myself a Qtek 9100 (HTC Wizard) and its a great device. However, I wondered if anybody could help me with something.

I like using the transcriber or the hardware keyboard when e-mailing or using Word, etc. However, for sending an SMS I find that the Phonepad is the best option. Is there any way I can tell the device that I always want the phonepad when sending an SMS and always want transcriber for other things, rather than having to keep changing input methods manually?

Does anybody know of an application that would do this if it isn't possible in WM5?
