Guest Celtic Blood Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 I subscribe to a football website that gives me live footage of the games I can't attend in the UK to my PC.. I can access this service with my Vario also, but it's only really good for audio only.. the video streams buffer terribly. Is there any plug in etc I can download to help ? Thanks.
Guest Laser_iCE Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 There are a few possible reasons for this; 1. Your wireless data transfer is slow and so the data can't travel to your phone fast enough (Are you using GPRS or even better EDGE? or wifi at work or somewhere similar?). 2. The video resolution is too large (the only time I have this issue is when I'm streaming data over wifi at home from my computer, and i'm trying to watch a dvdrip/tvrip of some sort, such as south park or the sopranos) These are your two most common issues when it comes to streaming video and lag (the latter only matters if the video is sluggish, and the first applies to your circumstance if it's actually buffering).
Guest n0m4d Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Overclocking seems to help me with sluggish video feeds.
Guest Celtic Blood Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 Overclocking seems to help me with sluggish video feeds. What's overclocking mate ?
Guest Christopher Woods Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Where you speed up the clockspeed of your phone's CPU - not for the faint of heart, and you can do irreparable damage to your device if you're not careful.
