Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Dopod, purveyor of tastefully branded HTC devices, look set to score another hit with their HTC Trinity variant, the Dopod D810. Looking particularly good in black, the Dopod D810 features... - a Samsung processor at 400MHzMHz - 128 MB ROM - 64 MB RAM - 18.4 mm thick - WLAN 802.11g - miniSD expansion The same device will be available directly from HTC as the HTC P3600, and from Orange as the SPV M700. Guest Pondrew Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Nicest looking variant yet...
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 I can't really put my finger on it, but for some reason it reminds me of the Blue Angel... P
Guest blissfull Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 (edited) anyone know if it has GPS with the UMTS bands and navigation system? If so, then this would the best unit out yet. Edited November 2, 2006 by blissfull
Guest AximMarkSD Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 from here: http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/handhelds/0,3...9272188p,00.htm it appears as though it does.
Guest richard_d Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 That does look pretty. It would need GPS for me to consider it as a worthwhile sacrifice for the Hermes keyboard though...
Guest AximMarkSD Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Or not in fact. No GPS? P you are correct, sir. i missed the GPS part. I skipped it and went right to UMTS. my fault.
Guest blissfull Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 (edited) actualy this the same PDA made by HTC P3600. So it has the GPS capability it's just that it is not integrated as of yet due to some glich in the software in which will be resolved in early 2007. Orange M700 also makes the same PDA but it's in white. They all have the issue with the GPS. I'm hopoing they will resolve the issue and have it running. Edited November 3, 2006 by blissfull
