Default contact # - WM5.0 gives you no choice?

Bought the Cingular 3125 after enjoying my Audiovox 5600 over the past couple of years only to return for a couple of reasons. First is I realized that I just can't stand flip phones - they make the whole process of using the phone difficult.

Secondly, according to the manual (and from what I saw in the interface) WM5.0 automatically designates a contact's cell phone entry as the default. WM3.0 allowed you to edit the contact and set any phone # as the default. Without this, a number of extra steps is required to call the majority of my 2000 business contacts as I rarely designate a cell phone as the default.

Can anyone clarify whether WM5.0 truly removed this option?

Yes, it is possible to change the a contact's default phone number betweem Mobile(cell), Home, Work, and Text Msg. To do it bring up the Contact list. The right-side column should have a 'm', 'h', 'w', or 'txt'. Highlight the Contact line you want to change and press your Right or Left key to change it.

Thanks for the answer. Wish they'd put less effort into putting out a manual that takes 90% of the pages to discuss picture taking and clearly establish the necessary basics.
