Vario 2 Reminder Problem

Using Calendar, have set up an appointment in 7 days time and set the reminder to 1 day (default reminder is also set to 1 day). Was expecting this to appear on the today screen 24 hrs before the appointment but it's there already !!

I expect I've missed a setting somewhere - anybody know how to get the reminder to only appear 1 day before?

today screen shows the 'next' appointment. If you don't have anything between now and that appt in 7 days, it will show that one.
