Activesync issues via USB

Hi All

I've just purchased an MDA Vario and I'm having trouble syncing it via USB. It connects OK then claims to be synchronising but it then remains "synchronising" until I disconnect it which can be hours later. Throughout this time no synchronisation actually occurs, everything remains the same.

I have no trouble syncing via bluetooth at all. (which is unusual for me!)

I've tried uninstalling activesync and re-installing. Also upgrading to the beta version of 4.5.

All the settings appear as they should be as far as I can see.

Any ideas?!?

Try disabling your firewall and see if that allows you to synchronise. This is quite a common problem.

Don't forget to re-enable it afterwards :rolleyes:

Yeah, that did the trick. Thanks.

Just tried fiddling with the firewall to allow an activesync connection through but it's made it worse! At least I could still file transfer through it before. Never Mind. No hardship disabling it each time.
