Remote wipe

Just testing out remote wipe on my startrk as one of our directors has got his mii s nicked so we've got to wipe that too.

So I installed the utility on the exchange server and got it all working. I selected wipe on my phone to test it out. It gave me an error message on the phone when I tried to sync to which I clocked ok. Then it started deleting (personally I think it should start deleting without needing a prompt and should lock up the phone.

Problem is it only deleted my email. My contacts, tasks and calander entries are all still on the phone and its finished wiping. Is this normal? I thought it would wipe the lot.

And I do sync contacts, tasks and calander with the exchange server not my PC :rolleyes:

anyone any experience with this? should it be wiping everything?

To Sync contacts etc you have to change the settings in ActiveSync on the PC
