Guest Transform Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 i have a bt-gps reciever and have used it a few times with tomtom mobile 5. my question is: how often is the blue light supposed to flash when tomtom is being used? on mine it flashes blue once every second or so and the green light is constant. my bluetooth is on 'discoverable' and not 'on'. not sure if this makes a difference at all? also, i initially charged the gps unit for about 12 hours when i first got it. i was playing around with it yesterday for a few hours and today including a 40 min drive there and back. the light went red then off completely and it wouldnt turn back on so i have had to charge it. is this normal for a gps reciever to run out of battery this quick?
Guest Jon_010 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Regarding the blue light, do you mean on the phone, or on the gps unit? If you mean on the phone then what phone are you using? As my c500 it flashes green and blue alternate every 2 seconds or so. I believe the c550 has a separate light for status and bluetooth so the constant green light would indicate that the phone is fully charged (i.e you have the car charger plugged in) and the blue would indicate that bluetooth is turned on. As for battery life best to check the manual. It varies between makes and models.
Guest Transform Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 i meant the light on the gps unit. as for the battery life, i have sent it back for a replacement.
