I am due for an uprage this Month and I am lost for Ideas what to do, I currenly have the SPV C550 and Im quite happy with the phone so ultimately I dont want to change to a dumbphone.

I wanted the C700 but it looks like that isnt coming out, It doesnt seem that the C600 will be any benefit to what I have, I could get a PDA Smartphone Such as the M Series (even if its an older version).

Will such a phone play MP3s as well as my current one does? Im not bothered about the media buttons on the front.

I really want to keep my current tarrif as well but If im out of the contract I see PAYG being cheaper for me.

What about the M3100? it's the latest device as such just depends if you prefer a Smartphone or a PocketPC.

And the price difference.

I'm in exactly the same boat! Upgrade due in a few weeks and have a C550! C600 I see no point in and I may have settled for the C700 if it were released but thats looking doubtful. I wish Orange UK would of released the F600 but nooo.

I'm now thinking... get m3100 and sell on ebay. Use the profit made to buy a SP5 (C600 pretty much but has WiFi and looks a lot better in my opinion  Aswell as being able to use my current miniSD card without having to buy a microSD card on top)

I wouldnt mind a Pocket PC at all, its just the price becasue Im on quite a low tarrif, I did think about the older M series phones if they are still avalaible but then again im not sure.

I have just called Orange, they want 29.99 for the c600, 100 for the M600 which is out of stock and 200 for the M3100 not good

Im quite happy with Orange and my current tarrif so dont want to move, but then again If there are no upgrade options for me it looks like ill have to move to PAYG anyway.

T-Mobile seem to offer the best data rates at the moment, with good prices on the Vario II if you want a Pocket PC, but only limited Smartphones (and the tarrif's aren't bad) but check coverage!

Unfortunatley although T Mobile a re very good customer services and tarrif wise, they dont meet my expections for coverage, theyve had years to sort it out and they havent.

My plan now seems to be to stick with the C550 and move to PAYG but, what is the point when I could just get the C600, ok I dont htink it would give me that many advantages over what I have now but I guess more refined with the Mobile 5 Version and would solve my problem with the occational 0 and # buttons not working.

As I said I dont really want the hassle of changing networks, upgrading may be the simplest option.

It seems that the Orange tarrif I'm on at the moment is the only one that has inclusive voicemail (although I think O2 do) & cross network minutes.

If I stay with Orange I won't be changing tarrifs that's for sure!

Same position - but even worst!! I've had my C500 for 20months, so am 8 months into upgrade period (how crazy is that!).. I got an N73 last week but i hate the Nokia software and syncing just isn't so simple.. Was going to upgrade to C600 but am now going to send N73 back and wait for M700...

Sx.
