Opera Mini 3.0 Beta out now

Opera have made a Beta of Mini 3.0 available here: http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/operamini/beta/

I've been testing it and it's pretty cool, integrated RSS feeds and content folding (lumping links together under an expandable + sign) are the biggest improvements. They promise secure browsing too, but I've not tested that yet. It's much faster than Internet Explorer for Mobile (or whatever it's called) as you'll already expect if you've been using 2.0 as well as keeping the functions like the page down which IE lacks. I recommend trying it, I'm a fan as you can tell!

It's a great browser, but don't know if you are aware but someone has managed to amend the opera mini v1.0 browser so you can download, rotate the screen and loads of other options. I guess opera have a lot of hidden features which this chap has managed to activate. The guy is goes under the name of DG-SU and he is Russian, but it's amazing what he has achieved.

I'll check that out, but in the meantime Opera Mini 3 is now a full release. :)

I think it's faster than 1 and 2, which is the main thing, but it also has all the things I mentioned in the first post, of which security and RSS support are the headline grabbers. Content folding works well too, generally.
