Mapping extra keys.

Hello

I installed the Cingular 2125 rom on my phone and only just noticed that the 'contacts' and 'sms' key dont do anything! (because the cingular does not have these keys!!)

does anybody know of a way i can remap these keys to do something?

if i press the buttons it 'wakes' the phone back up, but doesnt do anything.

i'd like to map them to contacts and sms as they should be.

any help with this would be great!

Ok copy the contacts and messaging shortcuts from the start menu into a temporary folder, then rename them as follows:

Contacts.lnk --> Short_AP1.lnk

Messaging.lnk --> Short_AP2.lnk

Then paste them into the /Windows folder

You can of course remap these to application on the phone provided you rename the appropriate shortcut correctly :rolleyes: My personal preference is the contacts button going to the Task Manager and the SMS button going to media player as i use these more than anything else.
