So I am suddenly having an issue with the windows media player.

So heres the scenario.

I open windows media, then go to update library, finds the files, it states that it is adding the files but it doesnt actually do anything.

I have only had the phone for a few days so i'm a n00b with the functionality right now, but it has been working fine and quick for the past few days.

I also have to say that I got the phone unlocked to all networks by buying the code.

The micro sd couldnt be damaged could it?

There are a number of threads relating to this - it's actually becuase the MSMETADATA folder becomes corrupted and the library has to be rebuilt from scratch.

In File Explorer make sure you are showing all files then delete the MSMETADATA folder. When you next update the library it will rebuild correctly.

Only thing is that you will find you have to do this fairly often depending on how often you update the files on the card.
