Anyone using TomTom V6 Traffic Feature?

Does it work on the Hermes? What sort of info does it give? And how reliable is the info?

I'm not bothered how much data it uses as I have a Vario II on W&W.

Basically it shows you where the delays are on your journey which then enables you to change your route if needed.

When I was testing traffic I found it very useful and reliable especially when the M25 was concerned.

You can decide how often this information is updated.

I find it a waste of money tbh. The data is normally 15 minutes old. It keeps telling me there are problems (when there aren't) and the other way around. I update it every 10 mins as well! I appreciate that it depends on what data TT get but the service is not worth the money in my experience (3 years and ~15K/year driving)

It worked quite well for me recently but I was passing the M5 juction 1 and you can set your watch by the traffic jams there.

I find it works really well if you regularly use a motorway as part of your route. I stumped up the cash when I had 6 months travelling the M3->M25->M40 and it was excellent. However I now do a route that is M3->A303 and tend to find its always "green", I guess because there is no info on some roads.

However now I'm on WnW Pro, I might change the checking time, but need to fix my bluetooth turning itself off randomly issue on my Vario II. My TomTom Go 500 randomly displays the phone/question-mark icon in mid drive. Very annoying.
