Guest SDAholic Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Okay so everythng works fine when I am using Wi-Fi for my internet apps. But I can't get them to connect via GPRS/EGPRS? Like my Agile Messenger, worked fine over gprs on my old razr but on my SDA USA it only works for Wi-Fi. Now I had to set up a proxy and hack my gprs settings to make my GPRS work completely as a normal internet connection, but it works in IE and for my email. I have a few apps like Agile, a radio streaming program, an RSS feed app, and quite a few other i would like to make work with GPRS/EGPRS. If anyone has any idea I would very much apreciate it thank you.
Guest notaliberal Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 wont happen unless you upgrade your plan to the blackberry one, or the full internet one. T-mobile is blocking port 80, and many more, which is what those programs are trying to use. I've yet to find a way to get them to use the proxy. Sorry,

Sorry, Sorry you are incorrect it has been done, look in the forums here, just no instructions.
Guest notaliberal Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 I challenge you to figure out how and PM me the settings you used. I have tried endlessly to stream radio from thestreamcenter.com and other sites, neither media player OR TCPMP will open them, cannot find URL... I honestly think it's not possible. Yes, folks here have said they've done it, but notice that nobody can prove it, or post instructions? Oh, how I've tried. I even just upgraded to the blackberry plan, in an effort to allow me to stream music, but I STILL can't get it to work!!!!
