In-car charging AND audio from the Hermes?

Right, so I'm thinking of getting a brodit cradle for my v1605 but have noticed that with the active ones I'm forced to use the inbuilt usb charger and with the passive I'm free to add my own device to the bottom of the phone. What I want to know is whether there is any combination of sockets, cables, plugs or anything that would enable me to charge the device while also getting the audio out of it.

I'm thinking the key maybe bluetooth, I will have integrated bluetooth in my new car but I've no idea whether this means that I can pair the device with it and then play audio out of the speakers, what do you think? Is this normally possible with in-car bluetooth or is it only for phonecalls?

I will also have a stereo connection socket (standard 3.5mm headphone jack) into the stereo so I could connect a cable from the phone to the socket using something like this: http://www.expansys.com/htc/p_htc_item.aspx?i=138247

but obviously I will lose the abilty to charge the phone, unless there is some kind of multi-mini-USB adapter that would allow two things to be plugged into the phone at once and still carry the audio signal, does something like that exist?

Is there a solution to this problem? It will dictate whether I go for an active or a passive brodit.

Thanks

Have a look at this Y adapter

Think it will do what you want.

hey that's perfect, thanks for pointing that out. At least I know there's a solution if i go for a passive holder.

Do you (or anyone else) happen to know if I'll be able to play audio through my car stereo via bluetooth by pairing my handset with my in-car bluetooth? I've never had in-car bluetooth before and my car hasn't been delivered yet.

Does your new car stereo support bluetooth A2DP audio?

I'm not sure, i can't find any spec on it. It's the new voice-activaterd bluetooth system shipping with new Fords. I guess I may just have to wait and see. I thought A2DP was a requirement for sending the audio, not necessarily for recieving it, which is what the stereo would have to do?
