Hi,

Hopefully I have the correct forum here in that I think the HTC Hermes is the same thing (certainly the other posts seem to suggest that).

Anyway, can anyone suggest a car kit for the SPV M3100. I don't seem to be able to locate a good proper cradled car kit which charges the pda and has full hands free capability.

Orange suggest the Sony Ericsson HCB-700 (http://www.business.orange.co.uk/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Business&c=OUKDevice&cid=1044132809370) but I would really prefer to have a system that i can cradle the device and have it charging. Also, I'm not keen on bluetooth stuff as it drains the battery so fast :/

Carcomm do a car holder that incorporates a cradle (screen or vent mounts included) with built in charger and a 5 volt out to power your bluetooth GPS unit. They offer a choice of connector for the GPS unit. Available from www.gpsforless.co.uk

Hi,

My company provides THB Bury 'Take & Talk' for all fleet vehicles but unfortunately provides us with crap phones! Fortunately though, the Take&Talk system allows you to take out the supplied cradle and insert the one that takes your own phone. I currently have an M2000 and it works great in this system.

I contacted them last week to ask whether they will be doing a crade for the Hermes and they hope to have one with retailers by the end of this month.

Hope that helps.
