Best ROM for C600?

I've had a C600 for about 8 months now, and have been having lots of problems with it... calls drop when I try to answer them; the keypad is very unresponsive, leading to misdialled numbers or SMS entry woes; the phone often just crashes, meaning I have to pull the battery out to restart it; TomTom no longer works; the list is endless.

I'm onto my third C600 now, and I'm beginning to wonder whether the Orange ROM is as much of the problem as the actual hardware.

I've had a bit of a dig around the forum, but I can't find a comparison between the various different ROMs that are out there.

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the I-Mate, the Orange, the T-Mobile, etc etc? Is there such a thing as a comparison chart or table anywhere?
