Guest f3nd3r Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Hey, My situation is that i need a decent alarm app that will still sound even if the system volume is set to "off" something that isn't bloated with features. Just a simple alarm app that does the job. I tried SPB time but it only the 'one off' alarm feature works. If i try to set a re-occuring alarm for different days of the week then it fails to do anything. Any help is appreciated

Just a simple alarm app that does the job. I tried SPB time but it only the 'one off' alarm feature works. If i try to set a re-occuring alarm for different days of the week then it fails to do anything. Any help is appreciated SpB Time V2 is fully WM5 compatible, and should work without problem on the Hermes. It is quite a large program though, and needs to be in main memory. If one off alarms work, but regular ones don't, it suggests either an installation failure, or a problem with your Notification Queue (an internal stack that keeps tabs on alarms and notifications, but which can become corrupt). To see if the NQ is at fault, download an evaluation copy of SK Tools and look in the NQ section for long lists of expired items, which can then be removed. Alternative Alarm apps include Chronos and Fizz Traveller.
