Bluetooth beam (Contact or Photo) - Nokia to Hermes failure

I have bluetooth activated in both a Nokia N70 and a T-Mobile Vario II, and both devices are discoverable to other devices.

I can successfully beam a photo or a contact to my Nokia N70 from my Hermes using bluetooth. But I cannot get it to work the other way round (Nokia N70 to Hermes).

Is this a known issue? Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Have you checked "Accept Incoming beams"?

Can't remember where it is though :)

I thought that was just for infrared?

There's a bit of a learning curve, but almost three months since making the jump from Symbian, I can't see me going back.

I have looked all over for an answer and this is the only place I even found it talked about. I have an 8525 and I can not send any information to it via Bluetooth from any other phone or Bluetooth source. Yes, I do have the "Receive incoming beams" checked. I can send files to any source but can not receive them. I have tried from several phones to send pictures or ringtones but all met with connection failure. The sending phone can see my 8525 but will fail on any data transfer.

I am not new to the Pocket PC world and have never had a problem in the past with any other device. But this one has me stumped.

Anyone else have this problem?

I might also mention that I have no problems using my GPS reciever.
