Guest crystal_clear Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 i have purchased the handset, first opinion, nice, well constructed, eye catching! However i am a line 2 customer, and now find line 2 not to be supported, i am informed however the windows mobile does support line 2, but keep getting refered back to OCS, which is very flustrating! When i or someone tries to ring the m3100, i find the screen lights - therefore it knows someone is trying to contact the device, however, the terminal then proceeds to terminate the call, either to user temp unavailable, or a discontinued tone, and then loses signal totally for a couple of seconds. Can someone please help me with this, i think it's not failings of the handset, but orange not investing the time to fully support the device with all it's wonderful functions available. Would like to close by giving the device a good overall rating, i am pleased with it 100%, just unhappy it wont utilise my line 2. any information, pointers, or assistance would be welcomed. many thanks mark

It's not been solved yet as far as I know - there's a thread about it somewhere in the depths of the Hermes setion of the forums. Orange should have been aware of this... Richard

Richard Oranges comment is that none of the spv range are line 2 compatable, and they are not working on a solution for this problem. therfore it would appear that it is down to the users to make and mend, needless to say i am in search of help......
