It is good that the device is showing in Device Manager... albeit with an error. But what is the error code Device Manager is reporting?

I'd try with 4.2 if i were you, always try and use the latest release of AS.

Error Code 10, that's quite a bizarre one! This essentially means that you do not have the required resources on your computer to install the device correctly.

It could however be indicative of a hardware failure on the SDA...

What laptop / computer do you have?

Are you able to quickly test your device in another computer, to see if you can replicate the issue?

Otherwise you may need to start messing around with some of the hardware within Device Manager.
