Compact II - hard reset - lost mms ?

recently my phone started playing up and i had to hard reset.

unfortunatly loosing all my valuable data :-(

however i went to send a picture message earlier today and ealised that in my messages tab all it shows is email or text.

were has my option to MMS gone?

do i have to upload the software after it hard resets?

what is my best option since i have lost everything and reset the lot back to default.

You should not need to install any extra software in order to use MMS, as it will be part of the ROM build, and / or part of the Network specific CAB files the device installs.

Maybe try a quick soft reset, and if this fails you may need to hard reset once more!

didsnt know if i had to re- activate something in menu's or something like this.

grr this phone has done me excellent aswell. just this silly bit.

on another note. it also crashes my computer when i try link my phone to my computer. and restrats my computer

any ideas what may cause this?

Assuming this is an MDA Compact II as stated in the topic title, it's not a Smartphone but a Pocket PC Phone. So...
