Cannot Stream on Qtek 8310 in Media Player

I used to be able to stream video and audio now some files dont work anymore. EG I used to stream LBC Radio to my phone from their listen live link on their website. Now it asks if I want to download the '232 bytes file '.wmwebasx'? When I click yes, I get an error saying 'Cannot play file. The file is either corrupted or the player does not support the format'. It did use to play. Strange thing is on the lbc website, if I click the link immedaitely below the LBC Listem Live link and click on the Live NEWS link, it does not even ask me if i want to download a file but says 'Running a system command on this item might be unsafe. Do you want to continue?' I click yes and it works fine in the smartphone media player.

Now I can't even view any audio or video files via orb which SHOULD play the files. Iused their test in settings to see what files my wm5 smartphone should play and it failed it so something is definately wrong with my phone.

I know I had problems straight after installing Pocket Player and then uninstalling it. Maybe Pocket Player had streaming files automatically associated with it and now i removed it, the associations won't go back to Media Player.

Please help I am going mad and dont want to hard reset. Is there something in the registry I can change maybe to associate streaming files with media player in the phone.

Desperate.
