Though for GENERAL INTEREST i've seen a link to upgrade to vista already. its on www.laptopsdirect.co.uk Might be .com just google laptops direct and it'll come up with it. Myself i won't be downloading it as its in its early stages so could still have many faults

If you click on the one you mentioned you see that they are giving free upgrades to Vista or charging a nominal amount depending on the version of XP you buy with your laptop from them in the run up to its release. I won't have to worry about that though since I get a free license for Vista home by attending the launch, doesn't mention the version being handed out but MS tend to be quite generous at these sort of things so I'm hoping for Home Premium :D Edit: I'm actually hoping for Vista ultimate but would settle for premium. :) Edited November 13, 2006 by Shuflie
