Guest gohome190 Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Topic. I have Cingular. It is offered by them, right? Is it only in cities? How many phones support it? I have a 2125. I only have access to EDGE... And.. It's okay, i guess. But they say HSDPA is BROADBAND SPEED?! That seems like a stretch, is it? Thanks in advance!!

In the UK on T-Mobile I can get just under 1mps, generally around 700-800 kps.

Since we are use to Edge, calling HSDPA broadband would not be a strech. Edge is SLOW. Noe I haven't used HSDPA yet but I hear good things. Where do you live?
Guest gohome190 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Pennsylvania. Man... HSDPA sounds cool!

You can check coverage in your area on Cingular's Coverage Viewer. Zoom into city level or greater to see 3G coverage.
Guest dseiden Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Here in Southern California I am getting between 700 - 900 on average. I have hit over 1 a few times but all in all the speed is noticable and running those speed tests can become some sort of addiction :-) .. I am sure once your area gets HSDPA you will certainly notice the difference.
