WM5 Activesync issue

I recently upgraded from an SPV C500 to M3100. One huge issue for me is that you can no longer filter contacts to sync by category. I have >500 contacts in Outlook and only want about 100 in the phone. I used to have a category set up against my contacts of "mobile" and it would only sync those ones.

I don't understand why that option goes away when you attach a WM5 phone, but still works in the software if I connect my old phone.

I realise I can setup a 2nd address book in Outlook for contacts I don't want in the phone, but this seems very clumsy. Does anyone else have this problem, or can they suggest a solution?
