I would like to ask all the members here about an ideal PDA..... I mean what will make any PDA perfect for you??

You're going to get 101 different answers to that question

For me:

Size (small, but not too small)

Keyboard

Stability

3G might be nice, but not a huge deal to me

GPS might be useful, but not that often

Loads of ROM space for apps

Plenty of RAM for running apps

Plenty of RAM for running apps

Solid build (size isn't much of an issue for me)

Scroll wheel and d-pad

Full qvga screen as minimum (no silly square screens)

Stable

Lots of ROM and RAM

3G essential HSDPA desirable

wifi

Decent volume

Good call quality

Memory card slot (not over bothered which card)

Would like GPS in-built (although not a true essential)

Fast processor

Decent camera

Keyboard is nice but not essential

Large screen size and resolution, but thin and lightweight

Keyboard

3G

External cardslot

3D acceleration

Those would be the ideals, stuff like Wifi, GPS, etc is all extra to me.

I'll stick with the Universal until they release the same but with an external screen, more memory, HSDPA, possibly a bit smaller size wise without compromising the screen and keyboard, and a better camera. Otherwise the Universal is pretty much perfect for me.

Specs of the universal but in a smaller case.

Hmm... A Hermes with:

1) Stronger IR transceiver.

2) Larger screen, perhaps (hey, there's a good few millimetres free space on each side :) ) but I'm not too fussed about getting VGA resolution.

3) Higher storage capacity (not really a PDA issue - I just want to see larger MicroSDs)
