Help - What phone to upgrade (Orange)

Hello - my return from 1 year in the wilderness...

I currently have an SPV M5000 - which I am happy with (I have had approx 1 year)

I haven't been excited enough to upgrade my phone to anything else......

BUT the service plan I am on is far too expensive.... so I need to change it now, and if I change my service plan I should change my phone (or be stuck with M5000 for another year, before I can upgrade)

So.... I have identified the service plan I want to move to.....

But what phone??? Unfortunately (Fortunately??) It needs to be available on Orange.

I want to retain the functionality of my M5000 but I want to use its replacement as my main phone - so it needs to be small and practical (so many people stare at me on the train with a M5000 glued to my ear!! :-) )

Can anyone help? Any suggestions? Should I wait for something just around the corner? Is there something out there that fits my criteria?? (Small, big functionality - similar to PPC, and available on Orange)

My dream phone :- WIFI, FM Radio, PPC functionality, SD, Nokia 6230 size'ish (Bigger screen??), Internet Browser, basic camera.

I want to listen to music, browse the internet, sync my contacts.

I presume you've looked at the M3100 - it's got most of what you want.

you're going to get NOTHING that has PPC features thats the size of a 6230. Theres not even a smartphone that small (although I haven't seen the SPL in person?)

Smalles PPC available is probably the M600, soon to be replaced wit the similarly sized but feature improved M700

If you want to retain a QWERTY keyboard, then as richard_d suggested, the M3100 is probably your best choice.
