TOMTOM 5.? and SPV C500

Hi

I've got a SPV C500 and a GPS Device, I think its the BT 77 Now the problem is, this used to work. and now it doesn't.

I've tried following all the postings but to no avail. This is what I've done.

Enabled the Bluetooth Com ports in the configuration area on my phone.

I have put my bluetooth on discoverable.

I have searched for the device, it was found. I edited the name to OTHER BT GPS (all in caps)

The phone said it was paired with the device. I have tried putting a passkey of 0000 and also leaving it empty.

When I turn on the GPS device, then turn on my tomtom on my phone it says no gps device.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH.

I must have done these steps probably 10 times now, and before I end up throwing both devices, please can someone tell me the one step I am obviously missing.

its now sorted. I am pretty sure it was all down to the COM ports. when I rebooted the phone it was fine.
